Emergency Respite Carers

We provide respite care and support for children and young people with SEND and/or disabilities. Our respite care packages are customized to address each child's individual needs. We offer respite services during weekdays and weekends, giving children and young people with disabilities the chance to enjoy time apart from their parents and carers, engage in fun activities, and foster independence.

Emergency Respite Carers

Recognizing the difficulties in arranging last-minute respite care, our team of 24-hour emergency respite carers is prepared to step in and offer the essential support, affording you the respite you need. We work in close partnership with the preferences and wishes of parents and children and young people (CYPs) to guarantee that our support results in positive outcomes.

Short Breaks Services

Our short break service is provided in care packages, which include support for children and young people (CYPs) in their own homes, assistance with activities, or socializing with friends in the community. Each care package is a component of a personalized care/support plan. The offerings of our Short Break Services include:

Care in and/or out of the home for a period in the day, evening, or weekend
Holiday day support in and out of the family home

The goal is to provide support for children and young people with disabilities, as well as their families, to foster resilience and promote independent living to the greatest extent possible.

Our short break services focus on early help and respite support to meet the needs of children and young people with disabilities, enhance the well-being of the child and their family. We provide person-centred short break services for children and young people. Our respite care and short breaks services provide parents and caregivers with an opportunity to take a well-deserved break from their caregiving responsibilities, allowing them to rest, rejuvenate, and enjoy quality time with other family members and friends.

Our service is custom-designed for families with children and young adults who have disabilities. This includes families.

In times of crisis, including those involving child protection concerns, it is crucial to have support available.

Therapeutic Support

Wellness and Wellbeing

We provide therapeutic support to children and young people under our care. Our therapeutic support workers are here to listen and delve into your feelings and experiences within a secure environment, free from judgment. This is an opportunity to talk about any challenges or distress you might be facing or have faced previously. 

Our key work session and counselling can help you to accept the things that you cannot change and help you to bring about the changes that are possible. We offer engagement through physical activities, including a variety of sports such as football, trampolining, swimming, golf, and day center activities. Our respite carers are dedicated to planning and facilitating these outdoor activities to captivate and involve the young person.

Transportation

We are able to transport children and young people to and from anywhere in the Berkshire to the activity of their choice.

Whenever we transport someone, we ensure they are treated with the highest level of dignity and respect, no matter their circumstances.
