Golden Aura Care provides family support services for children who are looked after by the local authority, ensuring safe contact with their parents and wider family. We specialize in supervised contact services and supported environments that guarantee a secure, nurturing, and child-friendly setting, promoting positive interactions between children, their parents, siblings, and extended family members. Our approach facilitates direct sessions between children and their birth family in a safe and welcoming environment.
We currently provide contact supervision to many families within Berkshire and are open to referrals from other out-of-county local authorities. Our support extends to local authorities and children's services in Reading, Slough, West Berkshire, and Windsor/Maidenhead.
Our supervised contact services create a structured and secure atmosphere for children to maintain positive relationships with a parent or family member they don’t live with full-time.
Our contact workers are dedicated to child welfare services, committed to safeguarding and promoting the development and wellbeing of children. Our team of qualified social care workers places the welfare of children and families at the forefront of everything they do. They undergo consistent training and supervision, coming from diverse professional backgrounds in social care, which allows us to match the worker with the family's specific needs effectively.

Our team provides family support to both children and parents during community outings, which include trips to local parks, shops, restaurants, and cafes, as part of our commitment to enhancing relationships within families. We conduct ourselves impartially and without bias to protect the child from the impact of ongoing proceedings. This involves monitoring conversations and evaluating the relationship, ensuring the best practices of child welfare services are upheld.

We will support social work teams in providing child welfare services through welfare visits when there are safeguarding concerns, while the child remains in the family home. These family support visits are primarily conducted out of hours, predominantly on weekends. Completion of a referral form is required, which should detail the risks, expectations, and observations related to the visit. Welfare reports will be generated and shared with the social worker by the next working day. Our staff will ensure they notify Out of Hours in case of emergencies and significant safeguarding concerns, including those needing supervised contact services.
We provide high-quality and safe escort and transportation services for both adults and children with special needs and disabilities, ensuring their well-being as part of our child welfare services. Our escorts offer care and supervision during travel in local authority vehicles, whether transferring from home to school, from school to home, or to any other agreed location. We also facilitate supervised contact services, ensuring that all children and young people are safely transported to and from Family Time visits. Coordination with the foster carer and social worker guarantees that a staff member accompanies the child throughout the journey, reinforcing our commitment to family support.
